The haulm / chives shredder is an efficient and economical machine for shredding haulm or chives before harvesting vegetables. The shredder does not destroy the heads of vegetable roots.
The shredder is designed for working on ridges and on beds as well as on flat soil surfaces.
Operation of the shredder:
Connect the machine to the tractor and set the width of rows (spacing of supporting wheels) and the haulm shredding height (height of supporting wheels). When the machine is operated at working speed of 3 – 5 km/hour, it can shred haulm/chives from the area of approximately 2.5 – 3.5 hectares during a day (about 10 working hours) or from a larger area if the rows are long and time is not wasted for turning round.
The haulm / chives shredder is equipped with a robust double drive of the shredding spindles with two-sided drive transmission. The machine has adjustable supporting wheels.
During operation, haulm is shredded and thrown away on the left side (with regard to driving direction).
The haulm / chives shredder fulfils all standards and requirements of the European Union with regard to machine safety. As a standard, each seeder is delivered with the instruction manual prepared in one of the following languages: Polish, English, Russian or German. Other language versions of the instruction manual are available on special request of the customer.
