"Alex-3" single-seed seeder is a universal machine designed for single-seed sowing of almost all kinds of vegetable seeds , i.e. the seeds of the following vegetables: carrot, parsley, onion, sugar beet, garden beet, parsnip, rape, poppy, cabbage, cauliflower, small radish, zucchini, bean (except large seed beans), pea, maize, white mustard, etc.
All the seeds designated for sowing by means of the seeder should be calibrated. However, coating of seeds is not necessary. In order to adapt the seeder to sowing specific kind of seeds, a proper sowing tape should be selected and installed.
The seeder is suitable for single-row sowing and double-row sowing from each section. Sowing can be performed on a flat soil surface as well as on ridges. The seeder can be regulated to a great extent in order to achieve the following assumed parameters of the sowing:
- spacing of rows,
- distance between seeds in a row,
- sowing depth
- quantity of seeds to be sown per hectare.
Design of ALEX-3 seeder guarantees its simple operation and maintenance as well as problem-free replacement of sowing tapes. The machine is equipped with a special unit for controlling the seed sowing process. This unit enables continuous monitoring of the sowing process during field operation of the seeder.
ALEX-3 seeder can be connected with MR ridge forming machine and with the cultivating ridge forming unit with AUR soil miller (made by Firma Weremczuk) by means of a special frame. Such a solution rationalizes the sowing process and reduces the costs of cultivation of vegetables on ridges.
ALEX-3 seeders are available in the following configurations adjusted to the size of the vegetable farm, vegetable production volume and possibilities of our Customers:

Even a standard version of the seeder is a versatile and well-equipped machine.
Standard equipment of the seeder:
- 2.0 m beam for 2, 3 and 4 – sectional seeders and 2.5 – 3.0 m beam for 5, 6 and 8 – sectional seeders
- one type of coulters (single or double-row coulters) for each section (to be selected),
- 2 seed sowing tapes for each section (one sowing tape for small seeds – for example, carrot and parsley seeds and one sowing tape for larger seeds – for example, onion, sugar beet seeds, etc.),
- one type of a rear pressing wheel: a smooth, solid wheel made of stainless steel or a wheel made of stainless, perforated mesh
- mechanical row markers for 5, 6 and 8 – row seeders
Sowing tapes are selected individually for the seeder depending on the requirements for a specific type of cultivation. We are always ready to help you select a proper sowing tape and share our experience in this mater with you.
ALEX-3 seeder fulfils all standards and requirements of the European Union with regard to machine safety. As a standard, each seeder is delivered with the instruction manual prepared in one of the following languages: Polish, English, Russian or German. Other language versions of the instruction manual are available on special request of the customer.
We provide spare parts for the machine during the whole period of its operation.
